SONY announces 4 new blu-ray Disc recorders

SONY this time has come up with 4 types of blu-ray Disc recorders, of course, with better compressing efficiency via MPEG-4 AVC encoder with maximum capacity of 16 hour recording in each case. The venue, ‘the SONY dealer convention 2007′ held on September 12th, seemed to be wholly intended to popularize terrestrial digital broadcast, HDTV and hi-vision recorder entirely under BD title.
For television video recording, standard model ‘BDZ-T50 of 250 GB and BDZ-T70 of 320GB HDD capacity are likely to retail for approximately 140,000 and 160,000 Yen respectively, whereas, for the foam/home theater BDZ-L70 of GB and BDZ-X90 of 500GB HDD capacity may cost 180,000 and 200,000 Yen respectively.
