Here is an interesting innovation, which will better interest you after you will go through the gallery below. A 15″ Samsung LCD with ELO Touchframe powered by a DialupPC. The LCD Touchframe is embedded in a nice 10″x13″ wood frame, set in a bookcase to provide a secondary display for HTPC. Everything from shortcuts to weather forecast, movie listings to a network-shared photos and music folder are there on the desktop. The Touchframe is ONLY an LCD mod. The computer isn’t inside the LCD, it’s only a secondary monitor for DialupPC.
The mod looks similar to telephone of the 1960’s or 1970’s, which actually works as automatic switch between handset and computer speaker. In a nutshell this mod contains 3.4Ghz Intel Pentium 4 Extreme Edition CPU, ATI Radeon 9800, 256MB, 512MB Corsair, 80GB Seagate Serial ATA, Laptop DVD-Rom.
If that doesn’t sound so amazing to you, then go through pictures displaying the raw material behind this real work of creativeness. What all it took from the innovator was lots of work and about $94.00 for final touch.
