David Gammon's legendary 'Transcriptor' prepares for comeback

David Gammon’s Transcriptor‘, which appeared in many films and TV commercials including the Kellogg’s cereal advertisement through to the Heartbeat TV series and reproduced by many companies all over the world like Michell, Simon York Designs, Audio Linear and even Concept2000 and Sykes & Hirsch is preparing for a comeback. With the release of some new models, including spider first of them worth £1,750, it had its first outing at London Sound & Vision Show 2007 in Heathrow.

Founded in 1960 Transcriptors, remained one of the market leaders of manual turntables during the 60’s, 70’s and early 80’s and was almost out of financial reach that time. However sons of late Mr. Gammon has decided to re-launch the legendary Hydraulic Reference turntable as seen in the Stanley Kubrick’s 1971 movie ‘ A Clockwork Orange‘ for projected price of £3,500.
